WILLIAMSBURG® Catalog now offers baked goodsfresh from CW’s own pastry chefs

Do you want to bring the taste of distinctive and delectable fresh baked
goods to your holiday table without all the fuss? Colonial Williamsburg’s
own pastry chefs have developed a line of baked goods exclusively for
the WILLIAMSBURG® Products Program.

"We are thrilled to be working directly with our Commissary Bake
Shop to bring a sampling of the delicious tastes of Colonial Williamsburg
into the homes of consumers across the country, " said Tammy Kersey,
director of WILLIAMSBURG® Catalog. "I am hopeful that
this is just the beginning of a broader assortment of Colonial Williamsburg
foods to enhance the holidays and other special occasions as well."

A "baker’s dozen" of 13 Ginger Cakes is boxed in an unusual
cardboard 18th-century house. These cake-like gingerbread cookies
are similar to the ones sold at Colonial Williamsburg’s Raleigh Tavern
Bake Shop. They make great treats for surprise holiday guests or gifts
for friends and co-workers. Leave one or two out for Santa…or save them
for yourself!

Our Pecan Pie, similar to the famous pecan pie served at Colonial Williamburg’s
King’s Arms Tavern, brings the sweetest Southern hospitality to any holiday
table. Served warm or cold, this delicious dessert is a tradition in many
households during the holidays and is sure to become one in your home
as well.

Colonial Williamsburg’s Gingerbread Houses look good enough to eat. And
they are! Now you and your family can make and enjoy one of your own this
holiday season. The kit comes with the gingerbread pieces ready to assemble:
walls, roof, fencing and a door. In addition, the kit contains instructions,
icing, two pastry bags and decorations for the gingerbread house including
holiday candy, a marzipan plaque that reads "Season’s Greetings"
and a holiday figurine to welcome guests to your home. All you need to
supply is the imagination.
