Travelers looking for a winter vacation can choose from two Colonial Williamsburg hotel getaways that offer value, discounts, resort credits and more.

For those who long for an old-fashioned holiday atmosphere, the Holiday Decorations Getaway starts at $199 per room per night and includes accommodations at the Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel and Suites, length-of-stay hotel guest passes to the Historic Area, exhibition sites, daytime programs and museums; lunch in a historic dining tavern in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area, Christmas Decorations Walking Tour tickets and a copy of the book “Christmas Decorations from Williamsburg.” The Holiday Decorations Getaway is based on a two-night minimum stay and is valid Nov. 28, 2009 – Jan. 2, 2010. Continental breakfast is included for guests of the Woodlands.

The Winter Getaway starts at $149 per night and includes accommodations at the Williamsburg Lodge and a $100 resort credit for guests arriving Sunday through Tuesday. The resort credit may be applied to spa services at The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg, golf at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, dining in Colonial Williamsburg tavern or restaurant or purchases at an official, on-site Colonial Williamsburg-owned store. Package participants also receive a 20 percent discount on most purchases in official Colonial Williamsburg stores.
