Williamsburg, Va., among top five travel searches on Yahoo! Travel

Williamsburg, Va., landed among the top five most searched destinations on Yahoo! Travel, according to a recent survey by Deloitte. Other front-runners included Las Vegas, Orlando, Italy and Napa Valley. This is the first time that Williamsburg has ranked so high on the search list, alongside perennial leaders Las Vegas and Orlando.

According to USA Today, Yahoo! searches for “patriotic getaways” are also on the rise, indicating a possible trending interest in Colonial America. Other travel searches that have increased include state parks, RV parks and camping.
