Colonial Williamsburg Hosts Thanksgiving Day Service

Williamsburg area religious leaders conduct a Thanksgiving Day Service for the community at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24 at Colonial Williamsburg’s Play Booth Theatre on Palace Green.

Interfaith prayers, seasonal hymns and Thanksgiving proclamations from the past and present will be featured.

In case of rain, the service will be held in Bruton Parish Church.

The service is open to the public, and no ticket is required.

The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is the not-for-profit educational and cultural organization dedicated to the preservation, interpretation and presentation of the restored 18th-century Revolutionary capital of Virginia.

Williamsburg is located in Virginia’s Tidewater region, 20 minutes from Newport News, within an hour’s drive of Richmond and Norfolk, and 150 miles south of Washington, D.C.
