Unwrap CW holiday packages early for yuletide shopping, decorating

Unwrap Colonial Williamsburg yuletide gifts early this season with two new hotel packages filled with inviting gift and Christmas decorating ideas. Guests can shop ’til they drop with the Holiday Shopping Package valid Oct. 24 - Dec. 23, which features accommodations at one of Colonial Williamsburg’s hotel properties, lunch at the world-class Williamsburg Inn Regency Room and 20 percent discount on shopping at 28 Colonial Williamsburg retail stores. This package may be booked for one night and rates start at $73 per person, per night, based on double occupancy at the Governor’s Inn.

The Holiday Decorations Package is brimming with good cheer and includes nightly accommodations, a ticket to the popular Christmas Decorations Walking Tour that guides you through the Historic Area and offers tips on how to make your own version of Colonial Williamsburg’s renowned, natural wreaths and swag decorations. The package is available Dec. 12, 2004 - Jan. 2, 2005 and includes lunch in one of Colonial Williamsburg’s dining taverns as well as a copy of a favorite book, “Christmas Decorations from Williamsburg” by Susan Roundtree. A two-night minimum stay is required and rates begin at $75 per person, per night, based on double occupancy at the Governor’s Inn.

All packages are priced per person, per night based on double occupancy and each varies according to hotel and room type. Taxes are not included and some restrictions apply.

Guests may select accommodations at one of Colonial Williamsburg’s five hotels that include the Regency-style Williamsburg Inn, a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation Historic Hotels of America and Leading Small Hotels of the World, the Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center, 28 individual and authentic Colonial Houses located throughout the Historic Area, the Woodlands Hotel & Suites located adjacent to the Visitor Center and the Governor’s Inn.
