Learn methods to capture the botanical world in watercolor from Linda C. Miller, a local artist and naturalist. This two-day workshop is open to all artists — beginner to advanced. Participants will be presented with the history of botanical art expression, the process of creating a botanical illustration, drawing techniques, and seeing and creating value in watercolor on paper from tea wash to dry brush. A materials list will be provided for students to purchase before the workshop, so please include an email address upon registration. Limit of 10 participants. This class will meet each day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Landscape Design Studio: 500 Packets Court, Williamsburg, VA.
