Nosegays, also known as tussie-mussies, are small bouquets of aromatic flowers and herbs made during colonial times to offset unpleasant odors. Popularized by Victorians, they were used to convey secret messages. In this workshop, participants will learn about the hidden meanings of different herbs and flowers and create a nosegay to take home or gift. All tools, materials, and a vase are provided; no prior experience is required.
Limit of 10 participants. This is family-friendly but not recommended for children younger than 6 years old. Children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. This class will be held off-site at the Floral Design Center: 500 Packets Court, Williamsburg, VA.
