CW Admission Required

Event Ticket Required

Take a walk through town with one of our skilled interpreters and dig deeper into the topics that mean the most to you. Your private guide will lead your family through town to learn more about what it was like to live in the 18th century. You can select a focus topic with your guide at the start of your tour. Suggestions include:

1) African Americans in 18th-Century Virginia – Explore the paradox of the institution of slavery and the reliance upon it to build a city, a colony, and eventually a nation.

2) Williamsburg Women – Define the various roles and perceptions of 18th-century women in education, religion, health issues, life passages, and the workforce.

3) Renegade Tours – Catch the stories that most Colonial Williamsburg interpreters will never tell in this fun, fast-paced walking tour.

Students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with a Homeschool Admission Ticket and as well as a Separate Program Ticket. Tours will be one family at a time (up to 10). Purchase one ticket for your whole family. Space is limited.
