Take part in activities relating to 18th-century military life and experience what it would be like to be a common soldier of the Revolution. Soldiers in the Virginia State Garrison Regiment enlisted for three years, and their duty was year-round. You may be encouraged to enlist yourself, and with the help of our interpreters, take part in drill practice, watch a musket being fired, or interact with other recruits.
