Part of the Hennage Holiday Concert Series, the music of well-loved performers usher in the season's spirit.
In this concert, join Lynn and Barry Trott to enjoy music for the winter season from the late 16th through the 17th centuries on the lute, cittern, viols, hurdy-gurdy, recorders, violin, and voice. The Elizabethan and Stuart reigns were a golden age for the arts. Not only did Shakespeare flourish, but some of England's finest songs and dance tunes were composed for the royal courts and the public houses alike.
