Don’t just learn about American history — live it during this playful and thought-provoking museum theatre experience. Join Colonial Williamsburg’s diverse troupe of actors as they interpret events leading up to and during the 5th Virginia Convention in 1776. As the story unfolds, guests will have the opportunity to become a part of the experience as a member of Parliament, a Burgess, or perhaps Patrick Henry, one of Virginia’s most prominent patriots. The ensemble will recreate the moment when Virginia said YES! to independence and explore the dynamics of race, class, and gender in early American history by giving voice to the disenfranchised. Join us for this unique, funny, and poignant play! Limited capacity.
