Join soldiers of the 2nd Virginia Regiment as they train in “Woods fighting” in front of the Public Magazine. Recruits will be trained to maneuver in the manner of “Woods fighting” - first at the walk, then the march, and, finally, at the run. Explore the varying perspectives on warfare in the American Revolution and the merits of “war on the run.”
The Discipline of Woods Fighting is an interactive program. Guests must be able to stand, walk, and run for approximately 30 minutes. This program is open to all would-be soldiers ages 6 to 80.
