Under Arms: Join the 2nd Virginia Regiment

Fall 1775: Williamsburg is at war, and Colonel William Woodford needs your help. Guests of all ages will heed the call to arms and join the 2nd Virginia Regiment. Falling in at the Magazine, recruits will be briefed on the war to date before being trained to march, drill, and train in the manual exercise. Captain William Taliaferro will inspect the company as they prepare to defend American liberty, by force if necessary.

Under Arms: Join the 2nd Virginia Regiment is a participatory program. Guests must be able to stand for at least 40 minutes. The program is open to all would-be soldiers ages 6 to 80.
