July 4 Week Pursuing Happiness
There's no better time to experience this popular program than the week of July 4. Join us for these additional performances of Pursuing Happiness. On the evening before Thomas Jefferson turns his draft of the Declaration of Independence over to a committee, he is visited by three inspiring voices. Witness a series of imagined conversations between Thomas Jefferson, John Locke and King George III to discover the ghosts behind Jefferson’s drafts of the Declaration of Independence and gain a new perspective on the document we celebrate on the Fourth of July.
General Colonial Williamsburg admission ticket required.
Please note: parking is limited near the Art Museums, so we encourage you to take the bus when possible. These performances are likely to be a full house and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early to secure your seat. Seating begins 30 minutes before the show starts.
