Meet & Greet with Quilt Artist Steve Prince

Join us Saturday, June 20th at 10:00 a.m. for a meet and greet with Steve Prince, Director of Engagement and Distinguished Artist in Residence at the Muscarelle Museum of Art at William & Mary. Steve will discuss the Great American Birthday Quilt collaborative project, which invites participants from across the country to craft a lasting tribute to America’s story. 

The Great American Birthday Quilt—created by Visit Williamsburg in partnership with the Muscarelle Museum of Art—is currently on display throughout 2026 at the Colonial Williamsburg Regional Visitor Center. Come experience this meaningful piece up close as it brings together squares from people across the country, each contributing to a powerful, shared story in honor of America’s 250th birthday.
