Dean Shostak's Crystal Carols

Dean Shostak returns to the Hennage Auditorium with his popular holiday show on the glass armonica, glass violin, and crystal handbells. Benjamin Franklin invented the glass armonica in 1761, which soon delighted audiences in 18th-century Williamsburg. Mozart, Beethoven and other composers wrote beautiful music for the instrument. Dean Shostak is recognized worldwide for his work bringing back the glass armonica. He has been featured on Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, Benjamin Franklin: A Ken Burns Film, and "Great Big Story" on CNN.
