Friends of John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library

Friends of Colonial Williamsburg’s John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library bring together people with a personal commitment to strengthening the library’s research collections. Your annual membership of $1,000 or more is tax deductible and will be used solely to acquire, digitize, and conserve library collections.

Friends receive a subscription to the quarterly library newsletter and get advance announcements of library exhibits, and select gatherings hosted by our librarians and archivists.

The Abby and George O’Neill Director of the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library, serves as chairman of the Friends and can be contacted by email at rocklibrary@cwf.org, and by phone at (757) 565-8510.

Whether your passion is rare books, manuscripts, photographs or architectural drawings or the history of the Foundation presented through its archive and media collections, membership in the Friends of Colonial Williamsburg’s John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library provides a special opportunity to study the history of America's past and Colonial Williamsburg. Come share your enthusiasm with others and Colonial Williamsburg's librarians and archivists and experience behind-the-scenes visits and intimate examination of documents. By joining the Friends, you support the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library’s staff and its world class collections.
