Cultivating a Future of Skills and Heritage
Grow with us at ALHFAM 2027 Annual Meeting & Conference
Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg Virginia
June 22–25, 2027
Colonial Williamsburg is proud to partner with the Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM) for their 2027 Annual Meeting & Conference. The program will be held at the Williamsburg Lodge by Marriott, with programs throughout the Historic Area, Art Museums, and Colonial Williamsburg associated properities, with additional programs throughout Virginia’s Historic Triangle.
The missiong of ALHFAM is to share practical knowledge and skills among those who make history relevant to contemporary lives, drawing strength from a diverse network of members, sharing experience, research and passion for participatroy learning. The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation advances its mission — “that the future may learn from the past” — through educational programming, preservation and ongoing research. Together, these missions drive the focus for the 2027 conference.
Our Past is Like a Tree - Rooted in farm and agricultural traditions, with history as the sturdy trunk and our diverse work as the many branches reaching outward.
This conference will be a chance to:
- Plant new ideas at workshops, sessions, and site visits.
- Grow connections with colleagues from across the field.
- Harvest fresh inspiration to take back and nurture at your own site.
Registration for this program will launch in early 2027, and will be open to ALHFAM Members as well as non-members – additional information and registration are posted on the ALHFAM Website.
Join us as we dig deep into the rich soil of living history at the ALHFAM Annual Meeting & Conference, proudly hosted by Colonial Williamsburg.
