Enjoy a family-friendly activity this holiday season on historic Duke of Gloucester St. Join us at the Liberty Ice Pavilion sponsored by Dominion Energy. Experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the holidays with a few turns on the ice.
Parking is available in the nearby hourly Merchants Square lots or in the paid parking garage on Henry Street. If you have Colonial Williamsburg admission, park at the Visitor Center and catch a ride in one of our heated buses that will drop you off just down the street.
Refreshments including hot cider, coffee, and more will be available for purchase only steps away from the ice. Or make it an evening with dinner at one of the 8 restaurants in Merchants Square just across the street. Liberty Ice Pavilion is open daily from November 20, 2020 through February 15, 2021, including holidays!
- Signage: Signage in public spaces will remind guests to maintain at least 6ft distance from other groups of people not traveling with them, this will include standing in lines, using elevators, or moving around the Historic Area.
- Physical Barriers: We will be adding plexiglass partitions at locations where guests queue to provide an extra level of protection for our guests and staff.
- Capacity: Capacities for indoor spaces as well as the number of individuals permitted for each tour or program, will be determined based on physical distancing and group size limit protocols.
- Face Coverings: All guests are required to wear face masks in the ice rink. Affordably priced face coverings will be available for guests to purchase in all Colonial Williamsburg retail outlets. Face shields are not an accepted substitute for masks.
