History is an adventure. Learn about how citizens of Williamsburg lived, worked, and played in the 18th century through exciting, fun, hilarious, droll, and downright silly adventures. It’s a journey worth exploring and it’s all in the presentation.
Designed for families with kids to encourage our younger audience to participate in a relatable 18th-century experience through active participation using STEAM methodology.
Weather Permitting. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Appropriate for ages 4+

STEM for Homeschoolers
Bring the 18th-century into your home classroom with a recent STEM-packed livestream. Join Historic Interpreter Mike Romero to discuss 18th-century navigation and how those skills were critical to the local economy and Williamsburg's survival. He discusses the tools and processes available in the 18th century, how they have changed since then, and how Williamsburg was an important hub in maritime commerce. Use this resource packet to conduct a navigation activity at home!
