The Williamsburg community comes to life in this street theatre experience exploring the daily lives of ordinary people during extraordinary times. Consider diverse perspectives on political and societal elements of 18th-century life as people of the past gather near the Raleigh Tavern to tend to personal and professional businesses of the day.

On Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday, join us in 1775 as the people of Williamsburg hear of the battle at Lexington and Concord and ramifications closer to home. On Thursday and Saturday, explore how life alters for the people of Williamsburg when the capital moves to Richmond in 1780.
